Spacious apartments with large living areas and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The location offers fine canal views and easy access to local attractions like St Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge.

The €50 fee for using the washing machine feels excessive for a couple of things, especially for those traveling light. Plus, finding the entrance can be tricky, and even though the apartment had a cozy feel, it might not suit everyone, particularly during the warmer months when mosquitoes can become a nuisance.

Small hotel with attentive staff. Convenient location to the tourist attractions, really nice facilities. And close to the center of Venice as well as San Marco and Rialto Bridge...

Beds were small.

Consider arranging a private water taxi for your transfers. It's a scenic and hassle-free way to navigate to and from the hotel.

Why I'm torn on this

The location is unbeatable with St Mark's Square just minutes away. Spacious apartments come fully stocked and clean, and the staff, especially Vanessa, provides really good service that enhances every aspect of the stay.

Had a significant amount of trouble with the washer/dryer (it never actually dried the clothes) and was surprised to find out that there is a 15 EURO fee if you use the washer/dryer. Not a big deal, but would have been good to know in advance.

Amazing staff support!

This hotel absolutely made our trip more special. Its location was great, situated in the center, only 2 minutes walk away from San Marco, close to everything, It helped us a lot having 3 little children. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Too bad we had to leave for sightseeing everyday. Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We definitely stay at Corte Grimani again if we go back to Venice!

Apartments were spacious, spotlessly clean. The staff was so helpful and friendly and spoke excellent english. The location couldn't have been better.

Unfortunately, the laundry machine fee was a surprising 50 euros. Our bed was initially too hard for comfort. Although the staff promptly added a topper, we still struggled with rest. Most disappointingly, we found the air conditioning to be shut off for the season despite it being quite warm was nice.

Except for Anna, hotel staff were consistently not warm and welcoming. Staff did not look happy in general. For the amount we paid for the room, daily soaps and shampoos were not replenished, even when asked. Coffee (Nescafe single servings-a tablespoon worth) and single serving cream would not be replenished after the first day and we were told that we would have to pay for them for subsequest days. This place did not provide breakfast like the majority of European hotels!! When I booked and paid for the hotel through Booked.net, there was a promotion on Booked.net for 2 tickets to Venice's Bienial Art show to be redeemed at Residence Corte Grimani upon check-in. They did not want to honor that and it was only after much disgruntle by the management that they decided to give us the tickets, which at the end of our stay, we returned as we did not use them. Except for Anna who we only met upon our arrival who was very warm and welcoming, I cannot say the same for the rest of the staff and we felt it was poor business management at how they refuse to even provide basic amenities such as daily rationing of soaps, shampoos and 2 single servings of coffee and cream for 4 paid people. Except for location, I would not recommend this hotel as the staff really left a bad taste in our mouths.
